Primrose Hill stab victim ‘can never be replaced’
Tragic Death in Primrose Hill
The father of a 21-year-old filmmaking student, who was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill, has called his son ‘irreplaceable’. Christopher Sullivan shared with the Daily Mail that his son aspired to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, becoming a cameraman. The elder Sullivan noted that Finbar had visited the park on Tuesday evening to test out a camera gifted to him on his birthday.
“This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine,” the 65-year-old told the newspaper, adding that Finbar was his only son.
Finbar, a student at the London Screen Academy, was known for creating music videos for drill rap artists under the moniker Sully Shot It. Sullivan described his son as a “beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy” and emphasized he was “not a gang member”, but a “groovy 21-year-old who loved movies and making films”.
Background and Aspirations
Finbar was stabbed in a fight near the viewing point at the north London beauty spot shortly after 18:30 BST on Tuesday and died at the scene. His grandfather, Michael Seresin, was a notable figure in film, having worked on Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban and Rambo III.
“He’d gotten very ill recently and everyone was so worried about him. It affected his eyesight, but he was getting better. He was a visual person,” said Ellen Kinnally, a friend of Sullivan and PR professional from New York.
Injury to Second Man
During the incident, a second man in his 20s also sustained injuries. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening stab wounds. The Metropolitan Police is seeking witnesses, photographs, or video footage from the location. No arrests have been announced yet.
Metropolitan Police Appeal
Officers from the Met have urged anyone with information related to the attack to come forward. The details of the altercation remain under investigation, with no suspects identified at this time.
