First picture emerges of Andrew, Epstein and Mandelson together
First image surfaces of Andrew, Epstein and Mandelson together
A previously unseen photograph has surfaced featuring Prince Andrew, Peter Mandelson, and Jeffrey Epstein. The former prince is depicted alongside Mandelson, who was once the UK’s ambassador to the United States, both clad in bathrobes.
Epstein is seated with them at a table, and the image is considered the earliest known snapshot capturing all three individuals in a single frame. The exact timing of the photograph remains unspecified, though ITV News reports it was captured on Martha’s Vineyard.
This image aligns with others from Epstein’s ‘birthday book,’ which also included Mandelson in a bathrobe with the financier. The photo, dated between 1999 and 2000, predates Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution involving a minor.
Documents shed light on connections
In the wake of the Epstein case, the U.S. Department of Justice disclosed three million documents, encompassing 180,000 visual records. The UK government also released numerous files detailing Mandelson’s associations with Epstein.
“Epstein maintained a particularly close bond with Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and Lord Peter Mandelson, a key figure in the British government.”
It was disclosed that Mandelson received a £75,000 severance upon his removal from office by Sir Keir Starmer, yet he sought a significantly higher amount. Mandelson contested the decision to terminate his U.S. Ambassador contract, which would have amounted to well over £500,000.
Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, Darren Jones, informed parliament that the due diligence report on Mandelson ‘did not reveal the full scope’ of his ties to Epstein. One document warned: ‘Should any issues arise, you might face greater scrutiny as the individual is personally linked to you.’
Jonathan Powell, former NSA, remarked that Mandelson’s appointment process was ‘exceptionally swift’ and ‘unusual.’
