Princess Beatrice puts on united front with husband Edo during lunch out amid fears her ‘marriage is in trouble’ in wake of Epstein scandal
Princess Beatrice and Husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Share Lunch Amid Rumors of Marital Strain
Princess Beatrice and her spouse, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, were recently spotted together at a sushi bar in Notting Hill, displaying a united demeanor during their lunch break. This public appearance follows growing speculation about the couple’s relationship, fueled by the ongoing Epstein scandal.
The 37-year-old royal arrived at the Eel Sushi Bar, a trendy pine-panelled Japanese eatery, accompanied by her husband. The couple spent two hours inside the venue, enjoying a celebratory birthday gathering before being collected in an electric Porsche.
Friends of the princess revealed to The Mail on Sunday that tensions have persisted between her and Edoardo for some time, particularly since the revelation of her parents’ ties to Jeffrey Epstein. This comes as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, 66, made his first public appearance since his recent arrest, taking a solitary 90-minute walk near Wood Farm in Norfolk.
This marked the first time the disgraced former prince was seen in public since his arrest, when he was spotted four weeks prior in the back of a Range Rover, attempting to avoid photographers as he left a Norfolk police station. The former Duke of York was released from police custody after an 11-hour interrogation, charged with misconduct in public office.
Meanwhile, the MoS disclosed that Sarah Ferguson, Beatrice’s mother, is engaged in discussions to clone the late Queen’s beloved corgis for a reality TV program. The idea, described as a “bold and controversial business venture” by Hollywood producers, would see the former Duchess of York selling genetically replicated corgis to dog lovers worldwide.
Pet cloning remains a topic of debate, as experts caution it may lead to severe genetic abnormalities. However, the process can be profitable, with cloned dogs in the U.S. fetching as much as £75,000, as it is permitted there.
Sarah Ferguson’s whereabouts remain unknown. She retreated into seclusion after her close friendship with the convicted pedophile was exposed, now facing pressure to testify in the U.S. The relocation, managed by the royal-sanctioned removal company Gander & White, included items such as clothing, antiques, and books, with some labeled as fragile, as Andrew transitioned to his new location.
Earlier this week, numerous HRH-stamped removal boxes arrived at Andrew’s new residence, indicating his continued attachment to royal titles despite the controversy. The former prince, who had been seen four weeks ago in a Range Rover, is now navigating a public image shaped by his recent legal troubles.
“She was pushing to get back into TV and make some money,” said a source. “She came up with the idea of featuring the Queen’s corgis in a show. And that included the idea of breeding them. Bizarre as it sounds, the concept of cloning them was discussed.”
While the process is not legal in the UK for commercial cloning, it is permitted in the U.S., where the former Duchess of York could potentially capitalize on the trend to generate income.
