Bill Clinton denies any knowledge of Epstein’s sex crimes
A video released by a U.S. congressional committee on Monday shows former President Bill Clinton testifying that he had no awareness of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual misconduct allegations. Clinton claimed his first meeting with Epstein occurred on a private jet in 2002, during a humanitarian initiative involving the Clintons. Their connection ended a year later, he said.
The two-day deposition session, conducted under oath for the House Oversight Committee, was recently unveiled. Clinton stated that he parted ways with Epstein years before the financier admitted guilt in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a minor. “There’s nothing that I saw when I was around him that made me realize he was trafficking women,” he told the committee in a

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton claimed she couldn’t recall any meetings with Epstein. The release of the Clintons’ depositions coincides with rising demands for accountability over the Epstein case. However, neither has been formally accused of wrongdoing. Clinton also referenced a discussion with Donald Trump that took place after Trump became a Republican. “He said, ‘You know, we had some great times together over the years, but we fell out all because of a real estate deal,’” Clinton recounted in a

Clinton emphasized that Trump had never “said anything to me to make me think he was involved in anything improper with regard to Epstein.” Both Clinton and Trump admitted prior ties with Epstein, but their association predated his 2008 guilty plea. They reiterated that they saw no evidence of sex trafficking during their interactions. To view the video, JavaScript must be enabled, and a browser supporting HTML5 is required.
